TECTROL announces general availability of the TCP1U-400 -- New Front-End Power Supply delivers 400 watts in versatile platform -- Toronto, June 2, 2004 - Tectrol Inc., a leading global manufacturer of platform and custom power supply solutions, today announced general availability of the TCP1U-400, a compact Front-End Power Module that delivers up to 400 watts in a versatile platform. The TCP1U-400 is designed to deliver reliable bulk power to distributed power architectures used in telecom systems, networking equipment and industrial instrumentation. Measuring only 1.55” x 3.3” x 10.87”, a flexible mechanical format allows the TCP1U to be housed horizontally in a 1U profile shelf, or vertically in a 2U shelf, delivering up to 2,000 watts per 1U of rack space. The TCP1U is available in several standard configurations providing 12 V, 24 V or 48 V nominal outputs from 90 to 264 VAC input. “The TCP1U-400 is truly a customer-driven product,” said Richard Gelb, President, Tectrol Inc. “We developed this platform in response to our customers’ demands for greater control over their power increments.
